Welcome to Quail Ridge Golf Course

Designed by Tulsa architect Jerry Slack, Quail Ridge Golf Course opened for play in 1992 and is located in South Central Kansas.  Owned by the City of Winfield, Quail Ridge is situated along the Walnut River, nestled alongside the Flint Hills.  This area more specifically separates the arid grasslands of the western prairies and the more lush eastern prairies.

Quail Ridge boasts zoysiagrass fairways, bent grass greens, and fescue roughs.  Under the care of Golf Course Superintendent Jeremy Birdwell, our playing surfaces are consistently considered among the very best in the area.  With Native Grasses outlining many of the holes, coupled with the beautiful surrounds, you will undoubtedly have ample opportunities to take pictures throughout your round of golf.  Golf Digest has regularly honored Quail Ridge as a 4 1/2 Star course on its places to play list.

The clubhouse offers Food & Beverage to be enjoyed in a casual atmosphere complete with tables and seating for up to 30 people.  A covered pavilion located just outside the clubhouse offers tables and seating for up to 112 people.  Other amenities include a driving range, short game area, practice green, and fully stocked Pro-Shop.  The golf operation is led by PGA Professional Brad Sexson, who has 25+ years’ experience in both Teaching & Coaching, and Tournament Operations.  For information about upcoming Instructional Programs or to inquire about hosting a golf tournament, please feel free to contact Brad directly at bsexson@winfieldks.org or call the clubhouse at 620-221-5645.
